Designing Polymers

Silane modification of polypropylene glycol or PPG chains is the replacement of toxic NCO terminated polymers(PU) with the crosslinking mechanism using less toxic silane groups . These Polymers offer more crosslinking groups for Polymer design, and allow better sealants and adhesives and coatings with no bubbling, faster cure and better UV resistance. The urethane linkage shown gives the polymer excellent physical properties and less creep. We do not have the cyclic aromatic groups that results in poor UV resistance.

We are now manufacturing several of our Polymers in Australia.
